Tommy has been in practice as a solicitor since 1989.

His main area of practice is civil and commercial litigation.  He has handled litigations of a wide spectrum at all levels up to the Court of Final Appeal, including insider dealing inquiries and related appeals, shareholders’ disputes, insolvency litigations, recovery actions in fraud cases, injunctions applications and property litigations, , SFC investigation and disciplinary proceedings, disciplinary proceedings involving solicitors, accountants, dentists, veterinary surgeons and medical practitioners, election petition and related judicial review and appeals, arbitrations and mediations.

He has also handled property transactions including residential, commercial and industrial properties, strata-title and en-bloc for various clients. 

He has handled the dissolution of over 20 civil servants’ co-operative building societies (“CBS”) for the transfer of title of individual flats to individual members and also the sale of flats formerly held by CBS’s and covered by the Urban Renewal Authority’s development schemes of Shing Tak Street / Ma Tau Wai Street (CBS-1:KC), and Kau Pui Lung Road / Chi Kiang Street (CBS-2:KC).

His practice also includes commercial transactions of various nature including joint ventures, acquisitions of company / business, loan and security documents, franchise and licensing agreements.
