Cindy Fong is a dual-qualified Solicitor (Hong Kong SAR and Malaysia) with extensive experience in complex real estate transactions and conveyancing matters. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at Messrs. Sit, Fung, Kwong & Shum, Cindy is a key member of the Real Estate Department, where she combines technical legal expertise with a pragmatic, commercial approach to property law.
With a practice that spans the full lifecycle of real estate dealings, Cindy advises major developers, corporate clients, and semi-governmental organizations. Her expertise covers high-value acquisitions and disposals (via both asset and share sales), project conveyancing, commercial leasing, and property financing.
Cindy has successfully led deal teams on transactions exceeding HK$2.6 billion, demonstrating her ability to navigate high-stakes negotiations and complex title issues. She is particularly adept at handling large-scale project sales, including first-hand residential projects and Hong Kong Housing Authority (HKHA) sales schemes. Beyond transactional work, she advises on regulatory compliance, including stamp duty relief (Section 45), government lease modifications, and building authority actions.
In addition to her fee-earning work, Cindy plays a pivotal management role, supervising junior associates and trainees, and leading internal training on legal updates and title principles. She is fluent in English, Putonghua, Cantonese, and Malay.
